Total cost per person is $2,059.00*
We have to pay for 35 students and six chaperones, for a total of 41 people.
MONEY DUE DATES:
March 1: $300 deposit
March 4: $272 (paid to WorldStrides from the popcorn fundraiser; you can subtract this from the total cost)
March 15: $600
April 2: $887 or balance (any fundraising profits will be deducted from this final payment)**
NOTE: Everything is nonrefundable. Once we pay your child's deposit, reservations are made for your child's travel, hotel room (quad room), etc. Once we submit the initial deposit, we cannot add students later. (Not my rule - WorldStrides' rule). As such, if your child is traveling, their deposit must be brought in March 1st.
*Cost includes travel travel to and from Washington, D.C., a quad hotel room for five nights, most meals, a charter bus for the week, a tour guide to take us around D.C., the Nationals entry fee, a meeting room in D.C. for practice and to compete, and security in the hallways overnight. Adults wanting a double room must pay an additional $200. Cost does not include food on travel days (including the train) or the tip for the tour guide.
**As we continue to fundraise, the goal is to reduce or eliminate the final payment. Whatever we receive will be equally divided by 41 and deducted from the April 2nd payment.
