I am a Florida licensed attorney since 2005.  I have been teaching since 2016.  I keep my law license active so that I can continue to practice during school breaks.  This allows me to keep my skills fresh for the students. Switching careers is one of the best decisions I've ever made.  

In February 2019, I was named Broward County's Teacher of the Year.  It was, and is, an incredible honor, for which I am grateful. 

Outside of practicing law and teaching, I compete in Crossfit competitions and dabble in dragon boat race organization and paddling.  I once managed a band for three years (check out BLAST on iTunes) and I have a performance background in music and theatre.  I perform whenever an opportunity presents itself.  

Interesting facts: I was on Wheel of Fortune in 2004, I used to be a ropes course facilitator, and coached an Ultimate Frisbee team from 1999-2015.
