6TH & 7TH GRADE LAW
6th/7th grade law begins your legal journey in the Nova system. Nova Middle offers 6th, 7th, Advanced 7th, 8th grade law and Competition Law courses. Nova High offers law in grades 9-12. The Nova High program is a Cambridge Law program. Even if you don't want to be a lawyer, the Nova law program offers you knowledge you can use in any career you choose. Plus, law classes are fun.
6th/7th grade law covers the foundations of law, teaches you how to do trials, and prepares you for the Nova Middle Bar Exam. Passing the Nova Middle Bar Exam makes you an official Nova attorney and lets you participate in a swearing-in ceremony where you meet judges, take an oath, and eat. As a Nova attorney, you can "practice law" in Nova's mock trials. Nova attorneys can also participate in law-related competitions. As a 6th grade member of the Nova Middle Bar, you are eligible for Advanced 7th grade law; as a 7th grade member of the Nova Middle Bar, you are eligible for 8th grade law.
6th/7th grade law students that pass the bar exam and also demonstrate excellence in ethics, reliability, teamwork, written work, and legal skills, may receive an invitation to Competition Law during their 7th/8th grade year.
